Update on David’s Story – 31/01/2025
Originally, one of the main reasons behind the creation of $DAVID was to support the transportation of his body to the Dominican Republic so that his family could lay him to rest among loved ones. However, after thoughtful discussions between his daughters, wife, mother, and brother, they came to a heartfelt decision.
Instead of seeing David cold and pale in a casket, they chose to cremate him in the U.S. and bring his ashes to the Dominican Republic, where they will hold a memorial service surrounded by family and friends. They want to keep his memory alive in their hearts, not in a coffin, remembering him as the vibrant and passionate person he always was.
This update does not change the essence of $DAVID—it remains a symbol of his dreams, ambitions, and the legacy he left behind. His story continues to inspire, and we will keep honoring his vision in everything we build.
